De zeer hoge bestendigheid tegen klimatologische invloeden en zeewater maakt dit materiaal ideaal voor gebruik in de scheepsbouw en cryogene technologie.<\/p><p>AlMg4,5 aluminium is goed draai- en freesmbaar, heeft uitstekende laseigenschappen en goede sterkte. Bovendien is 3.3547 zeer goed polijstbaar.<\/p><p>De natuurharde eigenschap van dit materiaal is opmerkelijk. Zo kan een aanvullende warmtebehandeling worden vermeden, wat economische voordelen oplevert. Het materiaal met de aanduiding EN AW-5083 vertoont goede eigenschappen bij rekken en koud vervormen, maar is moeilijk extrudeerbaar.
